All summer long on Thursdays, stop by the shop and buy produce from local farmer Clea Partridge of ThistleTop Farm!
See Clea's blog for recipes, info on her harvests, and more.

Clea has been farming plots of land all around Portland and has a community supported agriculture program.
on Thursdays her CSA members come by to pick up their share at sword+fern, and she will have produce for sale to passers-by as well.
I will update the blog with what's available the morning of each farmstand day, the times she'll be selling that day, and whether the day has been declared a "farmer goes to the river day"!

Just in time for the first days of bluffs sunsets and river dreaming- the shop is full of new treasures.
Susanna Scott of Zanna printed textiles just dropped off a buuuunch of beauties.
Come grab one of her totes, tea towels, or carry-alls in lovely colors+prints like sage, coral, slate, and ochre...before they're gone! She just got a nice write up on Design*Sponge about her Nasturtium print this weekend.
Also new...so many bright+light colors of the sailor's knot bracelets, ceramics in ocean hues by Alli Gibbons, handmade wooden arrows by Verla Ivans, paper cards by Essimar, and directly from the dreams of one Ms. Cubby H. Berk, I now have purple recycled glass and I've made purple tusk necklaces and earrings for you.

July's shop Spirit Flower: Roses! Yes, they are a drag to grow, with fertilizing, watering, and way too many needs..but there's nothing better than the smell of a sweet tea rose on an early summer day.
