Upcoming collaboration event to benefit Pixie Project:
Sword+Fern X Amy Sacks Eyewear- do good, look nice, and see well.
First Friday, March 2 from 6 til 10 pm, come to Sword+Fern to enjoy browsing and trying on select frames from local eyewear company Amy Sacks, accompanied by a newly designed collection of eyeglass chains by Emily Baker of Sword+Fern.
The eyeglass chains are reflective of Emily's classic jewelry line, incorporating familiar materials like gemstones, chunky vintage chain, recycled car parts, leather, and adding vintage recycled Sari rope into the mix to create one-of-a-kind eyeglass chains that make a statement as a new accessory.
Amy Sacks is out to create beautiful, high quality frames, and at the same time, support animal rescue. The Amy Sacks collection  is created using a vibrant palate of hand polished Italian acetates.
This limited edition eyeglass chain design along with a selection of Amy Sacks frames curated by Emily Baker will be unveiled First Friday 3/2 at Sword+Fern.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to local animal rescue, Pixie Project!

A few of my favorite people made an amazing new album:
Buy the new record "Dark Light" from Portland's Lovers here
and read a bit more about them here
I am over the moon about these girls, as friends + musicians.. a certain very special lady in my heart is one third of this tight trio of radical, hilarious, authentic BFFs.
I am so proud to share in some of the art direction for their new album and website, loversarelovers.com-we have collaborated on the band's photo shoots, styling and projects together for the past 2 years (they played inside my Ace hotel room for Content09 ) and we continue to inspire each other
, excited for what the future holds.
Look for a feature on the band in next month's Nylon magazine- the issue is a special one about Portland. Also, they look really hot in my jewelry, don't you think?

magic is pyramidically attracting you to me
